Stickee

In eight years creative digital agency Stickee has come in long way, in more sense than one, in a journey that has seen it working with some of Britain’s most impressive brands.

Stickee Digital

Although now based in Birmingham, Stickee started in 2001 as a digital production house in the South East of England. In 2005 it capitalised on its creative success by reforming its operations to become a true creative digital agency.

Creative director Steve Gray, who founded the business at 22 after finishing university, said: “We make digital content that is emotive, engaging and meaningful. These are Stickee’s three core values.

“We believe there are so many amazing things that can be done within digital space. We place a great importance on the kind of experience a user has with our clients’ brands, rather just measuring the success of a campaign with traffic and other stats. ”

Stickee conceives ideas and intellectual property for its clients and their brands, and then follows through with the building and deployment of digital production.

The company focuses on the youth market, entertainment and FMCG sectors, with clients including the BBC, Sony, MTV, BP, BSkyB, Virgin, BAA, Fox Kids, Birds Eye, Nokia, London Science Museum, Haagen-Dazs, LloydsTSB, Ch4, and the Royal Television Society.

Although most of the company's client base is in London, Stickee made the strategic decision to move to Birmingham in 2009, taking advantage of the range, experience and value of new creative staff the city had to offer, while still using transport links to London and the rest of the country.

Steve Gray added: “The move to Birmingham has proved to be a great success for us. It’s provided us with the means to supply a better quality service while remaining competitive and has put us in better stead for organic growth.”
