Great emphasis has been placed on our buoyant high technology community; allowing it to retain its international edge. Three "technology corridors" have been established to build on existing technology strengths in key industries.

Central Technology Belt

• Running from central Birmingham into north Worcestershire, this is the ideal location for organisations active in the areas of medical technologies, nanotechnology, materials engineering and environmental technologies

The Coventry, Solihull, Warwickshire Triangle

• The triangle specialises across the areas of ICT, motorsport, product engineering and design and medical technologies

Wolverhampton Telford Technology Corridor

• The University of Wolverhampton's IT Futures Centre will provide advice, consultancy, guidance and high level training to assist businesses
